A slim wallet is great for cards and cash, but life throws small items at you. A coin for a parking meter. A house key when you’re going for a run. An AirTag to track your wallet. A SIM card when traveling. These items don’t belong in a standard cardholder – they fall out or create bulk.
The Flippouch pouch attachment solves this elegantly.
What is the pouch?
The pouch is a small leather sleeve measuring 65mm x 95mm – slightly smaller than the cardholder itself. It attaches to the front or back of the Flippouch core using the same magnetic snap lock as the clips. The pouch has a gusseted opening that expands to hold up to 8mm of items. A flap with a hidden magnet keeps it closed.
What fits inside the pouch?
Coins: Up to 6 US quarters, 8 euros, or 10 Japanese yen.
Keys: One house key or a small car key fob (not a bulky keyless entry fob).
AirTag: Fits perfectly in the corner – secure but removable.
SIM card or SD card: Slips into an inner pocket we added.
Emergency cash: An extra $20 folded once.
Band‑aid or medication: A few pills or a small bandage.
The pouch doesn’t ruin the slim profile.
Adding the pouch increases total thickness from 7mm to 10mm. Weight increases by 8 grams. Compared to carrying a separate coin purse or keychain, the pouch is far more efficient.
When to use the pouch.
Scenario 1: Public transit.
You need a card for entry, but you also need coins for a ticket machine. Attach the pouch, drop coins inside, and access them without removing the pouch.
Scenario 2: Gym or run.
You don’t want to carry a full wallet. Take the core cardholder (for ID and one card) plus the pouch for a house key and a $20 bill. Leave the cash clip at home.
Scenario 3: International travel.
Foreign coins accumulate quickly. The pouch keeps them separate from your bills. Also store a spare SIM card for when you land.
Scenario 4: AirTag tracking.
Worried about losing your wallet? Drop an AirTag into the pouch. It’s hidden but the signal passes through leather easily.
Modular flexibility.
The pouch attaches to either side of the core. You can use it alone (no clip) or combine it with a clip on the opposite side. Yes – you can have core + cash clip on back + pouch on front. That’s 6 cards, 10 bills, and a pouch of coins – yet still only 12mm thick.
Built to last materials.
The pouch uses the same full‑grain Italian leather as the core. The gusset is stitched, not glued. The magnetic flap uses two N35 magnets – strong enough to stay closed but easy to open with one finger. We tested the flap with 5,000 open‑close cycles; no magnet loosening.
Why not just use a separate coin purse?
Because a separate accessory is one more thing to lose or forget. The pouch is always attached to your wallet – it’s there when you need it, invisible when you don’t. And because it’s detachable, you can leave it home when you’re carrying light.
For EDC gifts for men who carry small tools or EDC gifts for women who want to consolidate.
The pouch turns a lightweight cardholder into a mini organizer. The fan‑open mechanism still reveals more surface area of each card, and the pouch adds just 8 grams.
Add the pouch to your Flippouch system. You’ll wonder how you lived without it.
